Future Deer Farmers Experience 2021 | Issue 167

The NZ Deer Farmers Association in association with Deer Industry NZ, want to give some keen Ag students an up close look at our industry by taking them on a whirlwind tour of the deer farming industry. Over the course of a week 2nd August – 5th August 2021 the students will spend time with deer farmers, processing companies and also attend the DFA Next Generation 2021 conference to be held in Queenstown. The programme will raise the profile of opportunities in the deer farming industry. DINZ and the DFA will cover costs for all meals, travel and accommodation for the week.

Applications are now open and close Wednesday 21st July 2021.

Students studying toward a diploma or certificate in agriculture or farm management can apply along with those who have attended deer husbandry ITO courses. See website links for more details and how to apply;
