Big Deer Tour 2022 - Selections | Issue 176

Apr 8, 2022

The Big Deer Tour gives a small group of selected uni students the opportunity to see what makes the deer farming industry special and to visit farms, processors, and companies as well as chance to meet professionals providing services to this sector.

Previous tourists and alumni have gone on to work for meat companies, become marketers, rural bankers, vets, agronomists all with deer farmer clients and of course some have gone on to be deer farmers.
