Meet the DINZ Board - Deer Farmer Meeting - Waikato - Tuesday 21 September, save the date!
Mark September 21 in your diaries to come along to meet with the DINZ Board and executive at an event hosted with the Waikato DFA. Time and place to be confirmed. You'll have the opportunity to watch a demonstration from DINZ chef Graham Brown, discuss current issues with the DINZ Board and executives and join in for a light meal.
An invitation will go out to all known deer farmers in the Waikato and surrounding areas soon.
Annual Branch Chairs Meeting - confirmed 11/12th of October
Branch Chairs: it's time to mark your diaries for the annual Branch Chairs Meeting in Wellington. It has been confirmed as Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th October at the Brentwood Hotel in Kilbirnie.
If you are unable to make it, please consider sending another committee member along to represent your branch. The New Faces programme will be running again with six places available on a first come-first served basis.

The NZDFA Executive Committee sent a letter to the five venison marketing companies outlining our concerns around the venison schedule and requesting information on how each company resolved to restore venison production to profitability. We will share their responses with you next week.

DINZ seeking a Producer Manager
Deer Industry New Zealand is seeking a Producer Manager. The role works closely with the NZDFA. Within DINZ, the Producer Manager's primary responsibility will be to provide a producer’s perspective on broader industry issues. The role will also organise industry events and represents the industry in a variety of working groups.
