NZDFA congratulates former deer farmer and Waikato DFA member Brian Marcroft who was awarded the King’s Service Medal in the recent King’s Birthday Honours. A full account of Brian’s community service can be found here: A committed committee man | Te Awamutu News.
Brian was also the 2001 Matuschka Award winner and an inaugural member of the Waikato DFA. He is in good company alongside Graham Carr who was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2026 New Year’s Honours’ List.
