We are holding the Advance Party facilitators conference in Canterbury on August 21st/22nd.
A 1.5day conference for the facilitators and lead farmers of our deer farmer discussion groups (Advance Parties) to get a update from DINZ, go out on farm and upskill in facilitation.
This year we are focussing on them understanding farm planning from a freshwater to whole farm business planning perspective. Including education on plans like freshwater farm plans, integrated farm plans and market lead schemes like the New Zealand Farm Assurance Programme.
We are heading to High Peak the first day (Wednesday 21st August) on-farm with a group dinner in Christchurch that night then a half day in Christchurch the Thursday to round out the conference and collate learnings.
