A stocktake of environmental activites across regions as well as a national perspective has been completed by DINZ.

In October 2014 the New Zealand Deer Farmers’ Association branch chairmen asked DINZ to undertake the stocktake in response to increasing activity by regional councils on water quality. The project, which was conducted by DINZ researcher Lindsay Fung, shows that nutrient budgets or plans are required (or will soon be required) in the Bay of Plenty, certain Hawkes Bay and Horizons catchments, Canterbury, Southland and Otago.

The stocktake, as of March 2015, can be downloaded below in a version showing national information and all regional information, or versions showing information relevant to one region plus, for context, national information also applying to that region.  The specific regional information is towards the end of the regional document so you will need to scroll down.
